- Not sure about actual stats, but the main reason that the Amiga community liked
- them is that GVP liked them. For a long time (I think we're going back to the
- days of the 2500, but I'm not sure) Any GVP accelerator or hard card came with
- a Quantum hard drive. GVP stuff was good stuff, so people believed Quantum was
- also good stuff. I don't know how they are now or if there's a difference in
- reputation between their IDE and SCSI lines.

- For some reason I thought that the 52 Meg I had long ago was actually made by
- Seagate, and that Quantum was a model of Seagate drive, like Barracuda or
- something.
